Mrs. Tapp has 25 years of aviation experience. She began her career at a small Atlanta-based engineering and planning firm focusing on airport master planning, aviation systems planning and airport noise issues.

In 2010, Mrs. Tapp rejoined the ATL staff as one of eight members of the international terminal activation team charged with preparing operators, passengers and employees for opening day and beyond. In 2015, she became the first director of strategic planning at ATL.

Mrs. Tapp earned a degree in aviation management from Auburn University, where she also finished private pilot certification. An accredited International Airport Professional, she is also a board member of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and a student in Leadership Fayette.
