Elizabeth Grimes
Elizabeth Grimes, a pianist and vocalist, is active in Atlanta. Grimes regularly performs for the public through the MARTA Artbound Program. Additionally, she is a rehearsal pianist for the Atlanta Ballet and Centre for Dance Education, and performs at local venues with the music duo, Quill. She also owns and operates More Than A Song, LLC, which provides live arts and entertainment to Atlanta’s aging communities. Previously, she served four years active duty as a U.S Army officer and was a performer in the U.S. Army Soldier Show, which toured nationally. After her service, Elizabeth spent five years in New York City contributing to various theatre programs, performing outlets, and recording projects, to include her original full-length album “Silk in the Sky,” released in 2012 by Modern Vintage Recordings. She continues to create, compose, arrange and collaborate. Elizabeth firmly believes that music can heal, unite, and uplift people and that it is her responsibility and privilege as a musician to facilitate this in her community through music.
