ATL Tour Program
ATL Tour Options
Each tour will begin with an introductory briefing, providing an overview of Airport operations. Please review the following ATL tour options and select two preferences.
On the Airfield Tour you will see passenger and cargo planes on our taxiway as well as get an amazing view of the Atlanta skyline from Radar Hill. (9th grade and up)
Your tour of the E-tower will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the technical work that goes into keeping the airfield running smoothly. (9th grade and up)
Our Fire Station Tour is great for younger visitors. Here, our firefighters will give you a complete tour of the fire station and discuss how they work together as a team, and they’ll even show you the specialized fire equipment used at the Airport. (2nd grade and up)
Walk Through History
Hartsfield-Jackson passengers who walk between concourses can learn some amazing history lessons. This tour of the passageway between concourses B and C will allow you to experience a visual time capsule. (2nd grade and up)
SkyTrain Control System
You will receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the operations center of the ATL SkyTrain, the elevated train that connects the passenger terminal to the Rental Car Center and the Georgia International Convention Center. See how the ATL staff operates and maintains the SkyTrain’s 12 cars to provide reliable service 24 hours a day. (2nd grade and up)
Aviation Art Program
Please submit your request no later than 21 days before your requested tour date. Tours will start at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. and last 2 ½ to 3 hours. Please choose a date and preferred start time.
