Ana Maria Taroco
Assistant General Manager, Planning and Development
Ana Maria Taroco is an Assistant General Manager of Planning and Development. In her role, Ana is responsible for overseeing project delivery with a focus on ATLNext Parking projects, the upcoming Aviation Administration Center, and the future Concourse E modernization project. She leads a team of planners, asset/facility managers, project managers, and construction managers to ensure projects are delivered in a timely, cost-effective, environmentally sustainable, and responsible manner.
Originally from Montevideo, Uruguay, Ana brings 23 years of extensive experience in the construction industry to her position. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Ana has a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, including airport infrastructure, educational facilities, and medical centers, for public entities at the city, county, and state levels.
Ana’s journey to ATL was driven by her passion for unique construction projects and the challenges presented by the world’s busiest airport. Her extensive career includes significant contributions to the aviation, education, and medical sectors, earning her a reputation for delivering successful projects on time and within budget. Before joining Hartsfield-Jackson, Ana served as a Project Executive at Balfour Beatty Construction Company, where she successfully managed multi-million-dollar projects from inception to completion.
Ana’s leadership and expertise extend beyond her professional achievements; she has served two terms as a Director on the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia Board of Directors and currently sits on the Georgia Institute of Technology School of Building Construction Advisory Board.
