    ATL Airport First Amendment Activities Application

    The following is an online application to register for the distribution of literature or solicit funds or request a permit to demonstrate or picket at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (“Airport” or “ATL”). Applicants must apply at least 48 hours in advance of, but no more than 30 days before, the requested activities. The First Amendment activities registration or permit is issued pursuant to the City of Atlanta Code of Ordinances (“City Code”) governing First Amendment activities at ATL and authority granted to the Aviation General Manager. The activities registration or permit are subject to suspension or revocation for violation of any terms, conditions, rules, or regulations of the City Code.
    Special Note for Activities:
    • Failure to provide all requested information and documents will delay the permitting or registration process. ATL must receive all information and documents before issuing a permit or completing registration.

    • New applicants for a permit or to register for First Amendment activities and applicants unfamiliar with Airport property layout are encouraged to submit a request for a site tour.

    • Applications or Requests for Permit received on Fridays after 12 pm EST or on City Holidays will be processed the following business day.
