ATL Serves up Latin Flavor at Papi’s Cuban Caribbean Café

Celebrate Latin Culture
Hispanic Heritage Month may have just come to a close, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to appreciate and celebrate Latin culture. An easy way to connect has always been through food and if you are looking for some delicious Latin cuisine here at ATL, Papi’s Cuban and Caribbean Café is the perfect place.

I have enjoyed food from Papi’s more times than I’d like to admit, so you can take it from me when I say that their food is GOOD. Located on Concourse T, it’s easy to stop by before heading over to the Plane Train.
Authentic Cuban and Caribbean Cuisine
If you happen to be traveling in the morning, you can stop by for breakfast and enjoy an authentic Cuban espresso or café con leche that will transport you right to Cuba. Of course you can’t go wrong with a classic Cuban sandwich made with marinated roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese and dill pickles served on Cuban bread.![]()
The authentic taste of Cuban and Caribbean cuisine is rich in garlic, cumin and cilantro, which you can taste throughout all the dishes.

The cooking staff at Papi’s Cuban and Caribbean Cafe arrive early in the morning to cook everything fresh, even the bread! You can certainly taste the difference.
My personal favorites are the ropa vieja, a dish of shredded slow braised beef, and of course authentic tostones and twice-fried plantains. Try them topped with shrimp and salsa; it will be a celebration in your mouth.
