ATL Partners with the CDC on “Faces from the Frontlines” Exhibit

ATLANTA Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the City of Atlanta will unveil, this week, a photo and narrative exhibit documenting CDC’s efforts to battle HIV and TB epidemics around the world. CDC and photo documentarian Thom Pierce traveled to South Africa in September 2018 to capture the faces and stories of individuals at the forefront of CDC’s global response against these diseases. “Faces from the Frontlines” shares the voices of those affected by HIV and TB, as well as the innovations and efforts of those leading the response to the epidemics.
