ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) General Manager Balram “B” Bheodari and Airport officials hosted H.E. Tadeous Chifamba, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the U.S., on Thursday, Feb. 23. Facilitated by the Airport’s Office of International Affairs, the visit served as another example of ATL’s work to develop and expand ATL’s international relationships.
During H.E. Tadeous Chifamba’s first visit to ATL, Airport officials hosted a guided tour of “Zimbabwe: A Tradition in Stone,” the Airport Art exhibit located in the pedestrian corridor of the Transportation Mall between Concourse T and Concourse A. The permanent exhibit features a collection of 20 contemporary stone sculptures from 12 of Zimbabwe’s top artists.
