Hartsfield-Jackson Wins 2022 Airport Service Quality “Best Airport at Arrivals Globally” Award
ATL praised for providing a superior customer experience
ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) earned the 2022 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award for “Best Airport at Arrivals Globally.” This award recognizes airports with the top 20% overall satisfaction score at arrival.
The Airports Council International (ACI) ASQ initiative is the aviation industry’s only global benchmarking program measuring passenger satisfaction while passengers are at the airport. The ASQ program delivers an in-depth assessment of the quality of the customer service experience based on data collected from ASQ departure and arrival surveys.
“We are thankful to Airports Council International for this recognition and for their work in capturing the voice of our customers,” said ATL General Manager Balram “B” Bheodari. “This recognition represents the hard work of our entire Airport team who strive to deliver a best-in-class experience for our passengers each day.”
“Congratulations to the team at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on their well-deserved Airport Service Quality Award,” said ACI World Director General Luis Felipe de Oliveira. “This recognition was selected by passengers through ASQ’s unique and comprehensive methodology and demonstrates that the whole airport community is putting the passenger at the center of all they do.”
Launched in 2006, the ASQ passenger satisfaction program includes nearly 400 participating airports in 95 countries. From over 465,000 surveys collected in 2022, 144 awards have been won by 75 airports around the world.
