Hartsfield-Jackson Celebrates Ethiopian Airlines Inaugural Addis Ababa-Atlanta Flight
New service begins May 16 (with arrival at ATL on May 17)*

ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Ethiopian Airlines will celebrate the inaugural flight of the new four times weekly service between Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (ADD) and ATL. The 315-seat Boeing 787-9 will make a technical stop in Dublin, Ireland (DUB) for refueling before arriving at the Airport.

Journalists interested in capturing the flight’s arrival and water-cannon salute on the airfield must RSVP with full name and date of birth of each attending member to media@atl.com by noon Monday, May
15. Media must arrive by 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 17 for TSA screening and be in place by 7:45 a.m. in the event of flight’s early arrival. No exceptions.
