Hartsfield-Jackson Announces New Scandinavian Airlines System’s (SAS) Daily Nonstop Service to Copenhagen

 

 

ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is excited to announce the launch of Scandinavian Airlines System’s (SAS) new daily nonstop service between Atlanta (ATL) and Copenhagen (CPH), starting on June 17, 2024. This new route marks a significant expansion in the SAS North American network as part of their 2024 summer program.

 

The new daily service will connect Atlanta with Copenhagen enhancing travel and business opportunities between the two cities. The flights will use Airbus A330 aircraft during the summer program, with the schedule set to adjust to five weekly flights using Airbus A350 aircraft during the winter season.

 

"With 103.7 million passengers passing through in 2023, ATL continues to be a critical hub for global travel," said Airport General Manager Balram “B” Bheodari. "We are thrilled to welcome SAS and look forward to the enhanced connectivity this new route will bring to our passengers."

The new 262 seat SAS flight marks a significant milestone in ATL's international destinations, expanding to 77 cities in 45 countries.

Summer Program (Daily with Airbus A330)

Flight No. SK929: Departs CPH at 1:10 p.m., Arrives ATL at 7 p.m.

Flight No. SK930: Departs ATL at 5:10 p.m., Arrives CPH at 10:20 a.m. the next day

 

Winter Program (5 Weekly with Airbus A350 - Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun)

Flight No. SK929: Departs CPH at 1 p.m., Arrives ATL at 7:10 p.m.

Flight No. SK930: Departs ATL at 5 p.m., Arrives CPH at 10:20 a.m. the next day
