Hartsfield-Jackson to Cut Ribbon on Fire Station 40 Solar Array
Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, ATL, and Cherry Street Energy officials mark Fire Station 40 milestone
ATLANTA – Another milestone in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s (ATL) commitment to sustainability will be celebrated when City, Airport, and Cherry Street Energy (CSE) officials gather for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the Fire Station 40 solar panel array. This advanced solar power system is the first of several to be deployed at ATL as part of the Solar Atlanta Program, a forward-thinking solar energy purchase agreement between the City of Atlanta, CSE, and Hartsfield-Jackson. This strategic collaboration represents a significant step toward Atlanta’s ambitious goal of achieving 100% clean energy by 2035.
