Hartsfield-Jackson Hosts 2025 ATLNext Industry Day and Maynard H. Jackson Jr. Legacy Awards
Annual event educates and inspires the small business community
ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) hosted the 2024 ATLNext Industry Day and Maynard H. Jackson Jr. Legacy Awards today, Thursday, March 27, at the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC).
The sold-out annual event is designed to educate and inspire small business entrepreneurs, by uniting the construction and construction-related contractor community, Airport leadership, stakeholders and business partners. In addition to the awards luncheon, a networking expo and insightful breakout sessions comprise the one-day conference. This year’s exhibit hall welcomed 500 registrants and 36 exhibitors.
During the sessions, participants learned about updates to ATLNext, the Airport’s multibillion-dollar capital improvement program, contracting opportunities, and tips on doing business with ATL.
“This event speaks to the very foundation of who we are as a city, as a business community, and as a global leader in aviation,” said Interim Airport General Manager Jan Lennon. “Maynard H. Jackson Jr. was a visionary leader who transformed Atlanta into a beacon of opportunity. His unwavering commitment to equity and inclusion reshaped our city’s landscape, ensuring that everyone had a fair chance to succeed. As long as I have the privilege of serving this Airport and this city, I will ensure that we continue to build upon that legacy.”
