South Terminal Roadway Modifications Begin May 18
Work on parking deck to impact South Terminal traffic through end of 2025
As part of the South Deck construction project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), roadway modifications are scheduled to begin on Sunday, May 18.
What to Expect: Inbound traffic to the South Terminal will be merged into two (2) lanes near the construction area. This traffic pattern will remain in place through the end of the year. Parking Access Unaffected: Access to the South Daily and Hourly Parking Decks will not be impacted by this change. Traveler Tips: Slow down when traveling through the construction zone. Plan ahead for potential delays or slower-moving traffic. Allow extra time to reach the South Terminal. Use ATL parking options: ATL West Deck, ATL Select, Domestic Park-Ride Lot, and purchase a reserved parking spot.
