Hartsfield‑Jackson Welcomes Etihad Airways’ Inaugural Flight from Abu Dhabi
 Etihad becomes latest international carrier to join ATL’s expanding global network

ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) celebrates the arrival of Etihad Airways’ inaugural nonstop flight from Abu Dhabi to Atlanta. The welcome celebration will include a water cannon salute, ribbon cutting, gift exchange, and remarks from Airport and airline leadership.

NOTE TO MEDIA:  Members of the media are invited to capture the arrival at Gate F1. This event takes place in a pre-security area. However, airfield access is limited. Media wishing to capture the airplane’s arrival on the tarmac must RSVP no later than 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 1.

Please RSVP with the full name and date of birth of each attending member to media@atl.com by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, to secure airfield access.

Media wishing to capture the airplane’s arrival must arrive by 3:30 p.m. to be in place on the tarmac.

MEDIA PARKING: The International media parking lot is located on the departures level just

beyond the international departure level entrances.
