Hartsfield-Jackson Canopy Construction Moves to Next Phase
Airport officials advise of new traffic patterns and road closures
ATLANTA – Construction of the massive canopies at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) will move to the next phase beginning Saturday, Oct. 6. As the North canopy nears completion, North roadways that were previously closed will reopen and portions of the upper roadway leading to the South Terminal will temporarily close to all traffic.
ATL will hold media availability with Airport officials to discuss mitigation plans for the new construction-related traffic impacts.
