Hartsfield-Jackson and Airport Partners Prepare for Busy Holiday Weekend

Nearly 2 million passengers expected to travel through ATL; public-facing construction will be on hold during holiday weekend

 

ATLANTA – As passengers prepare for holiday travel, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) officials will host a press conference on Wednesday, May 22 to discuss the details of the upcoming Memorial Day travel period. Officials from ATL, the Atlanta Police Department (APD), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will address holiday-related topics such as safety and security, ATL construction schedule and impacts, and the Memorial Day weekend passenger forecast along with time-saving tips for passengers traveling through ATL.
