Hartsfield-Jackson Announces Rideshare Pickup Relocation

All rideshare pickup service now on North Lower Level

ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) will move the pickup relocation for all approved transportation network companies -such as Uber and Lyft- to a designated area at the North Lower Level early Monday morning November 15. This change consolidates all pickups to one location, making it easier for passengers and drivers. The move is expected to increase efficiency and allow rideshare drivers to enter and exit much faster. This dedicated pickup area will be used for rideshares only, removing the element of personal vehicles, commercial vehicles, and buses competing for parking in the same area.

There will be ample signage throughout the Airport terminal, along the curb, and along the passenger journey to assist them in finding the new rideshare pickup location. In addition, the Airport’s guest services representatives will be on-hand to answer questions and direct passengers as needed.

At the same time, the Airport will move the entrance to the North Economy parking lot. Passengers using the North Economy Lot will travel the same path but will turn left into the lot approximately 100 yards before the former entrance.  Dynamic signage will inform the public about the new entrance.
