Hartsfield-Jackson and U.S. Green Building Council hold LEED and Parksmart Plaque Presentation Ceremony
Airport facilities earn sustainability certifications
ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) today announced officials from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) will present ATL leaders with a plaque and certificate honoring the Airport’s Fire Station 40 and the ATL West parking deck projects. The ATL West parking facility has earned the Parksmart Silver certification, making it the second largest Parksmart certified parking facility in the world. Airport Fire Station 40 has earned the LEED Gold certification, making it the fourth LEED certified Fire Station at the Airport.
