Hartsfield-Jackson to Host Human Trafficking Awareness Elected Officials Roundtable
ATL leaders and legislators to discuss initiatives to fight human trafficking
ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) officials will host a special roundtable discussion with ATL leadership and Georgia legislators to review current human trafficking legislation and determine if the laws need strengthening, revising or amplifying. This roundtable is an extension of the Airport’s “Not in My County” collaborative, that boasts over 35 members–which includes state, county, and local agencies–to address sexual exploitation and forced labor in the region at large and the planned work to combat it.
