Hartsfield-Jackson and Partners to Host New Public Art Sculpture Ribbon-Cutting

Mixed-metal structure features refurbished 747 airplane wings and a Delta Air Lines tail

 

ATLANTAHartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) in partnership with the City of College Park will unveil a new public art sculpture titled “Seedlings” by nationally recognized artist Christopher Fennell. The sculpture, located in College Park at the intersection of Godby Road and Clipper Drive, is a unique addition to the entrance of ATL’s 150-acre property that is home to the Atlanta Fire and Rescue Department’s training facility and future development.
