Hartsfield-Jackson, U.S. Customs and Border Protection to Hold Global Entry Blitz

Event to help qualified travelers expedite interview scheduling, security clearance pre-approval

ATLANTA – Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will hold an enrollment blitz for Global Entry April 5-7. Global Entry is a CBP program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Members enter through automatic kiosks at select airports, including ATL. The blitz is open to applicants who have been conditionally approved through the Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) and are waiting for an interview appointment. There will be 456 appointment slots available over the three-day period.

“At Hartsfield-Jackson, we are always looking at efficiencies to enhance the customer experience,” Jan Lennon, ATL deputy general manager of Operations, said. “One way to do that is by partnering with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection on efforts like this to help expedite the passenger screening process. Assisting in securing Global Entry is a tremendous benefit to our customers.”

Benefits of Global Entry include:
• No processing lines
• No paperwork

• Access to expedited entry
• Available at major U.S. airports

• Reduced wait times

For those who have already applied and received GOES conditional approval, visit https://ttp.dhs.gov and use access code 363FIG732. Please select “DOA Global Entry” under the location menu.
