Hartsfield-Jackson Announces New and Enhanced Service from Delta Air Lines and LATAM Group

New service will expand connectivity between North and South America

ATLANTA, GA - Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) announced the launch of new and enhanced service by Delta Air Lines and the LATAM Group. The expansion’s new joint venture routes will significantly increase connectivity and elevate the passenger travel experience between North and South America.

As part of this initiative, Delta Air Lines will introduce service between ATL and Cartagena, Colombia (CTG). Flights on this route will commence on Dec. 22, operating three times a week with Boeing 737 aircraft. Delta Air Lines will add a second daily flight between ATL and Bogota, Colombia, starting Oct. 29. In addition, LATAM Airlines Peru will commence three-times weekly service between its Lima hub and ATL, also starting Oct. 29. This will mark a milestone as LATAM's first route to Atlanta. The Lima-Atlanta route will operate with Boeing 767 aircraft.

"We are excited to announce these new and enhanced services by Delta Air Lines and the LATAM Group," said Airport General Manager Balram “B” Bheodari. "These strategic expansions offer passengers more convenient travel options, seamless connectivity, and will further solidify our position as a key hub connecting North and South America."
