Hartsfield-Jackson Prepares for Summer Holiday Travel
ATL officials expect record-breaking traffic
ATLANTA – As passengers prepare for the busy summer travel season, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) will host a press conference to discuss travel tips on Wednesday, June 28. Airline officials, the Department of Aviation, and the Atlanta Police Department will advise travelers on how best to have a seamless experience during the July 4 travel period (June 29-July 6), as 2.6 million passengers are expected to pass through ATL. This weekend is expected to be among the busiest travel periods for ATL this summer.
