Hartsfield-Jackson Marks Major Milestone in Concourse D Expansion Project
Infrastructure investment fuels ATL’s Concourse D widening, Airport, City, federal and business leaders to commemorate
ATLANTA – A pivotal moment in the transformation of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25, as the first modular unit of the Concourse D Widening project is set in place. This milestone is part of ATL's comprehensive strategy to modernize its infrastructure, specifically targeting the enhancement of its oldest concourse. The movement of this module, a significant component of the Concourse D expansion, is scheduled to occur overnight on April 23/24.
