Hartsfield-Jackson Prepares for Busy Memorial Day and Summer Travel
2.6 million passengers are expected to travel through ATL during the holiday period
ATLANTA – In preparation for Memorial Day weekend and the start of the summer travel season, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) officials and aviation industry officials will host a summer travel press conference on Tuesday, May 20. Officials will discuss preparations and provide tips to passengers to better navigate air travel during the busy holiday travel period Wednesday, May 21, through Wednesday, May 28.
Officials from ATL, the Atlanta Police Department (APD), and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), will address holiday-related topics such as safety and security, passenger forecast and timesaving tips for passengers traveling through ATL.
