Meet your UBER/LYFT in the Rideshare Pickup Zone

Proceed through baggage claim for the escalators located between doors N2 and N3 to the Rideshare Pick-up Zone. Request your ride when you arrive in the Rideshare Pickup Zone.

Rideshare drivers will pick up passengers at the North Economy lot, which is a short walk from North and South baggage claim. Passengers will proceed through North baggage claim for access to the lower-level escalators located between doors N2 and N3. Once downstairs, follow the orange signs to the Economy lot and request a ride only after arrival at the pickup location.
Drop-off locations at the North and South roadways will not change, and there are no changes to rideshare pickup locations at the International Terminal.

The new consolidated pickup location is located in the North Economy parking lot.

Expect about a five-minute walk to the new location.

To guide passengers, ATL has installed bright orange directional signage throughout the Domestic Terminal. In addition, our Customer Service agents wearing green coats are strategically positioned and ready to assist and help travelers and guests.

Regardless of the domestic airline of choice or which side of the Terminal (North or South) that you collect your bags, you will follow rideshare signage that will lead you the consolidated pickup area, located in the North economy parking lot.

Hail your ride as soon as you arrive at the pickup location. The pickup spots are active loading and unloading zones and do not allow for rideshare drivers to park and wait.

No. Uber and Lyft will still be able to drop off on the North and South roadways immediately adjacent to the Domestic Terminal.

They’re designed to expedite the pickup process. Rideshare drivers and passengers may use the numbers to more efficiently connect during the pickup process.

  • Directions for passengers arriving at the South Terminal:
    • Walk from Plane Train escalators and follow signs to South Terminal baggage claim. If collecting bags, otherwise follow signs for North baggage claim.
    • Once you collect your bags, follow signs to “Rideshare” located throughout the Terminal.
    • Once you arrive at the North Terminal, follow signage to the elevator or escalator that will lead you downstairs to the lower level.
    • Exit out of door LN1 and cross over the crosswalk, obeying traffic signal.
    • Head into the parking deck, following signage as directed.
    • Turn left when directed and follow marked path.
    • Cross over the crosswalk into the pickup zones.

Driver FAQs

North Economy parking lot is the only designated rideshare pickup locations at ATL. Follow signage to North Terminal which will lead to North Parking.

The rideshare pickup location is for active loading only and as such, there will be no need to pull a ticket once you enter the designated rideshare area.

Driver should exit the parking lot and follow the signs for Terminal return.

Driver should proceed toward the gate guard, who will allow entry. Current decal (hangtag) must be visibly displayed on rearview mirror.
